friends

"friend in need is a friend indeed they said long back. But in these dynamic times, friend in need and in time is a friend."

Though my mom taught me stories from Lev Tolstoy book (eg: "the boy who cried wolf"), I told recently to my friend "*e*" how all these efforts of mom is not of so much use. There was one more story in the book of two friends: "two friends are in the jungle. As they see a bear one climbs to a tree and escapes from the bear. The other lies silently on the ground, and pretending to be dead. The bear just sniffs him and leaves. The guy on the tree climbs down and asks his friend what the bear whispered to him........."
